The Best Hotels in Imsouane
Hotels I’ve Personally Stayed At:
Flooka Hotel
For the first few days of our trip to Imsouane, we stayed at Flooka Surf & Yoga, and it quickly became one of my favourite places to stay in the town. Perched above the famous Cathedral surf spot, the views alone are worth booking for. Waking up to the sound of the waves each morning and watching the sunset from the balcony felt pretty special.
Flooka is located near Cathedral Beach and just a short walk from Magic Bay. I loved the location as most of Imsouane’s restaurants, cafés and surf shops were within a five-minute walk. The nearby campervan area also gave the town a fun, laid-back surf atmosphere that I really enjoyed.
The hotel felt incredibly clean, welcoming and safe throughout our stay. Its boutique design perfectly balances modern comfort with authentic Moroccan style, creating a space that feels both stylish and relaxed. Flooka also offers daily yoga classes, as well as breakfast and dinner, which is ideal if you’re tired after a full day of surfing and exploring.
For me, Flooka Surf & Yoga is worth the money for the incredible views and beautiful rooms alone. I loved spending time on the rooftop watching surfers at Cathedral Point and soaking up some of the best sunsets in Imsouane. If you’re looking for a stylish stay with a relaxed surf vibe, Flooka is hard to beat.
Imi Bay
If you’re looking for a stay with a view, it’s hard to beat Imi Bay. Overlooking Imsouane’s iconic Bay break, I spent hours watching surfers from the terrace while enjoying a slower pace of life than I’ve experienced almost anywhere else.
Like many hotels in Imsouane, Imi Bay offers yoga classes, but the yoga here was my favourite. Held on the rooftop overlooking the ocean, it was impossible not to feel relaxed as soon as I stepped onto the mat. Listening to the waves while taking in the panoramic views made the experience feel incredibly special, and on the morning I attended, I even had the class all to myself.
Imi Bay has a fantastic atmosphere throughout the hotel. The restaurant serves a great selection of food and drinks, making it the perfect spot to refuel after a surf session. There’s also a small rooftop pool where you can relax and enjoy the views across the bay.
What really sets Imi Bay apart is how it combines a laid-back surfer vibe with the feel of a chic boutique hotel. The rooms are bright, stylish and thoughtfully designed, with natural materials and subtle Moroccan touches that feel both luxurious and authentic. Despite its polished aesthetic, the hotel never feels pretentious – it’s the kind of place where you can head straight back from a surf and feel completely at home.
One of my favourite things about staying at Imi Bay was waking up to panoramic views across the bay each morning. From watching the first surfers paddle out at sunrise to enjoying sunset from the rooftop terrace, the hotel feels completely connected to the ocean. It perfectly captures the relaxed, surf-focused spirit. Imi Bay is definelty a hotel I would go back to in a heart beat.
The Wood House
The Wood House is another great hotel option in Imsouane, especially if you’re travelling on a budget. We only stayed here for one night and booked one of the most affordable room options. Our room didn’t have a balcony or ocean views, but at around £40 per night, including breakfast, I thought it offered excellent value for money.
The room itself was small but clean, comfortable and perfect for a short stay. Breakfast was included and featured a traditional Moroccan breakfast alongside croissants, tea and coffee. If I were staying at The Wood House for a longer trip, I would probably choose one of the upgraded room options to make the most of the hotel.
One of the highlights of our stay was the pool area. On our final day in Imsouane, we decided to skip surfing before our journey home and spent the afternoon relaxing by the pool instead. We had it completely to ourselves, which made it the perfect place to unwind before a flight.
The Wood House is located around a 10-minute walk from Cathedral Beach and has its own restaurant on site. We ate there on our last evening and enjoyed a delicious chicken tagine. The hotel also has a spa with massage treatments and a sauna, although it was closed during our stay for Ramadan.
Overall, I think The Wood House is a great value-for-money hotel in Imsouane. While it’s not located directly on the beachfront and doesn’t offer the same sea views as some other hotels in town, it provides comfortable accommodation, good facilities and a peaceful atmosphere at a more affordable price point.
Other Hotels Worth Considering
With the next three recommended hotels, While I didn’t stay at these hotels during my trip, they were all on my shortlist when researching accommodation in Imsouane and consistently receive positive reviews from travellers which we met there.
Aman
Aman Surf & Yoga is another accommodation option located right on Magic Bay, with beautiful ocean views and easy access to the beach. As both a hotel and hostel, it’s a great choice for solo travellers looking to meet people and enjoy a more social atmosphere.
From my research, Aman is known for its relaxed surf vibe, friendly staff and rooftop spaces overlooking the bay. If you’re looking for a laid-back stay with incredible views and good value for money, it’s definitely one to consider when planning your trip to Imsouane.
Aloha
Aloha Imsouane is another hotel that caught my eye when researching places to stay in Imsouane. Perched above the bay, it’s known for its incredible ocean views, relaxed surf atmosphere and spacious terraces overlooking the water.

The O Experience
The O Experience was actually one of the hotels we wanted to stay at during our trip, but unfortunately it was fully booked. It’s become incredibly popular on social media, and after seeing it in person, I can understand why.
We spotted The O Experience from a couple of restaurants overlooking Magic Bay and couldn’t help but feel a little jealous of the people relaxing on the terraces with those incredible ocean views. It looked like the perfect place to unwind after a day of surfing.
Overlooking Magic Bay, The O Experience offers stunning sea views and a beautiful boutique design that blends perfectly with Imsouane’s relaxed surf culture. From my research, guests love the friendly atmosphere, stylish rooms and homemade breakfasts. If you’re planning a trip to Imsouane, I’d recommend booking well in advance as this is one of the most sought-after places to stay in the village.
